1. To establish efficient production processes
2. To play a role in the managing motivating and directing the plants production workforce
3. To implement and manage systems for the ordering of goods and raw materials that minimizes stock holding quantities yet is suitably timed
4. To ensure uninterrupted production keeping with the market demand
5. To constantly seek new ways to improve the plants production efficiency and cost effectiveness
6. To manage and oversee the maintenance and servicing of the plants production lines to minimize down times and maximize the efficiency and working life of all production equipment and machinery. 7. To set up working systems which minimize loss of materials during the production process
8. To constantly explore and implement methods of continuous improvement
9. To be actively involved with the senior management in the development of new product
10. To suitably train and motivate all production staff as required.
11. To provide regular production information and performance reports.
12. To establish and monitor effective systems for ordering sufficient
resources, stock control and rotation of goods and raw materials to meet production needs
13. Responsible for the hiring of all production staff.
14. To devise a budgeted cyclical maintenance and servicing plan for the plants production lines to ensure their efficient and effective operation. |
